EXECUTIVE COACHING

Coaching helps you take stock of where you are now in all aspects of your life, and how that compares to where you would like to be.

(Elaine MacDonald)

Executive coaching is a specialized form of professional development that enhances the performance of leaders and helps them achieve their personal and organizational goals. TEND’s process is centered around the idea that effective leadership flows from wholeness, leading and living from an integrative view of life and work rather than a compartmentalized view. By focusing on both professional and personal aspects, our executive coaching provides a wholistic approach that empowers leaders to navigate the complexities of their roles more effectively.

At its core, executive coaching is a partnership between the coach and the executive, characterized by a thought-provoking and creative process. This collaborative relationship is designed to inspire clients to maximize their potential, distinguishing it from other service professions such as counseling, mentoring, consulting, and training. The coaching process is client-driven, meaning that it is tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of the individual executive, allowing for a more personalized and impactful experience.

Through regular coaching sessions (in-person or virtual) we work with executives to address key areas including goal setting, self-awareness, leadership skills, strategic vision, purpose, and career planning. Our coaches assist leaders in clarifying their goals and identifying actionable steps to achieve them, while also helping them recognize their strengths, weaknesses, and potential blind spots. Our comprehensive approach not only accelerates goal achievement but also enables leaders to manage team dynamics, encourage collaboration, and lead with influence rather than authority, ultimately aligning their growth with the broader objectives of their organizations.
